I have been a member of the Stevenage choir for many years and it is amazing. Barbara is a very talented, knowledgeable and inviting choir director. She makes everyone comfortable practicing and singing in their own range at their own pace. Barbara and the choir are wonderful people, we always have fun and I couldn't live without them ❤️....Sam
I've recently joined this choir and find it friendly and fun. Barbara really does have a great way with people and is very patient with everyone, especially the newbies! Enjoy the 2 hour session every week.😊....Janis
After contacting Barbara about joining the choir not having sang in one before but always wanted to, was told we can all sing and was encouraged to come along and see for myself. I did so a couple of weeks ago and was uplifted by the songs the friendly atmosphere and the humour the choir received from Barbara. I am looking forward to joining the group next term and so pleased I contacted Barbara and would encourage anybody wanting to join a choir to do the same.... Brian
I have been a member of Alive and Singing choir for 12 years. If you want to sing your heart out this is choir to join. Barbara is a great music leader and everybody in it is friendly, almost family. Have regularly performed in public and I love it and everyone in it.....June
I'm a long-time member of Barbara's choir and I admire her musical ability, hard work, professionalism and sense of humour. I’ve been a member of Alive and Singing from it’s beginning. We choose democratically the songs we wish to sing. Barbara does the arrangements beautifully and every time we meet I feel happy and enjoy every moment. We share a lot of laughs....Hilary

Fantastic, talented woman runs this fun choir. Barbara arranges a broad mix of pop/rock etc for 4 parts, mostly. She is very welcoming, and there is no audition to get nervous about!... Jill
